Comics Shipping This Week! (or... Look Out For The Extinction!)

Ultimate Galactus is coming ... and he's really hungry! It started with Ultimate Nightmare, then went to Ultimate Secret, and now it's time for Ultimate Extinction. This week we see the first issue of Ultimate Extinction, the third part of a three act story that introduces the Ultimate Universe version of Galactus. The Ultimate Universe Galactus is much creepier than the big giant dude in the funny purple helmet that we all know and love.
We also see the first issue of X-Men The 198. Now that the Marvel Universe has depleted it's mutant population, this series will look at 198 of them as they come to Xavier's school to try to find answers. How do they cope with the "Decimation" of the mutant gene? What do they do now? How much shampoo does Beast go through each week? (Okay, that question probably won't be answered, but you get the idea.)
